Woman with brown hair in a denim shirt sitting at a desk with a laptop, holding a smartphone, looking confused or thoughtful. Thought bubbles above her head ask about AI, phone security, remembering passwords, and making technology easier. Items on the desk include notebooks, sticky notes with questions about passwords and starting tasks, a mug labeled "Focus Plan Do," and a coffee cup. Books and plants are in the background.

Making Technology Make Sense.

Who am I?

Hi, I'm Sally.

I've spent more than seven years teaching technology-related subjects, including cybersecurity, at tertiary institutions in the United States. I hold qualifications in cybersecurity and software engineering, and throughout my career I've helped people make sense of complex technology in a practical, easy-to-understand way.

Long before I taught professionally, I was the unofficial IT department for my family and friends. Over the years, I've answered questions ranging from "Google broke, can you fix it?" from my mum, to supporting users back when "the coffee cup came with the PC" was an actual help desk call.

I started Too Easy Tech because I realised that many adults don't struggle with technology because they're incapable. They struggle because nobody ever taught them in plain English. Technology changes constantly, and most of us were simply expected to keep up.

My goal is simple: help everyday people feel more confident, more independent, and a little less overwhelmed by the technology we use every day.
